WITTINGLY reserved while racing a path off of the inside rail, advanced on the far turn, kept on well in the stretch wore down EPICO in the last seventy yards under confident handling. The latter stalked the pacesetter while traveling three wide, took over leaving the far turn but was reeled in late. YANKEE DRUMMER void of speed, commenced a bid far on the turn, went four wide into the stretch and continued on with late interest. MEGACLES gained the lead, was headed leaving the far turn and gave way. HUMAN DESIRE settled while four wide, was urged on the far turn, came up empty and left the track in an equine ambulance. SURFER'S JOY raced forwardly along the inside and gave no response when called upon.
