GOLDENTOWN rated off of the quick early pace and saved ground into the turn, went up to vie for the lead nearing the top of the lane, confronted LATCH THE HATCH and dueled inside of that foe to the furlong pole, fought to deep stretch, determinedly prevailed in the final yards. LATCH THE HATCH broke in then was prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace from outside of MISH, overtook that foe into the turn and led from the two path nearing the quarter marker, met the bid of GOLDENTOWN to upper stretch, dueled outside of that one to the final sixteenth, fought gamely to deep stretch and just missed for the win, while well clear of the rest for second. ADIOS NOW close up to the early pace, stalked three then four wide into the turn, chased the leading pair to upper stretch, flattened out in the lane but kept on to be clear for third. MISH hustled for the early lead, took command and set a pressured pace to the turn, overtaken into the bend, lost position nearing the quarter marker then weakened in the stretch. AIR INVASION settled off of the solid early pace, coaxed from the two path nearing the quarter marker, angled four wide to upper stretch, no late bid. TAP TO MISCHIEF tracked the solid early pace from the outside, coaxed four to five wide to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. TUYMANS (BRZ) bobbled then squeezed back at the start, lacked early speed and trailed to the turn, eased through the lane, walked off.
