Footnotes
DEW settled off the lead pack early while well out in the strip, in the second flight while four wide through the bend, rallied confidently while remaining out in the strip to reach the leader past the furlong marker, kicked clear to win geared down and ridden out. IRON (FR) with the second flight up the backstretch while widest of that group, advanced and dueled with the early leader late in the turn, gained the advantage into the stretch, offered little resistance to the winner the final furlong, clearly second best while lugging out a bit late stretch. FLYING ASH bumped with KISSINTHELADIES at the break, recovered to set the early pace while off the inside, dueled with the runner up late in the bend, first to blink into the lane, continued to gradually give way to the wire while comfortably holding the show. BLEU MARTINI balked a bit loading, raced in the mid pack early while well off the inside, raced three wide through most of the turn, roused into the lane, staged a mild rally to be slowly gaining for the third spot late. CHING CHING void of early foot, moved outside, came five wide out of the turn, also show some interest to better his position down the middle of the strip. VAN CLEEF bothered just after the start, fell back, continued to lag through the turn, found best stride too late while out in the strip while improving position significantly the final sixteenth. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHT in the second flight while between horses in the two path, in tight bumped with STREET MOMENT into the turn, righted and remained in a forward position through the turn, came three wide for the stretch run but had little left. VALUED EFFORT forwardly placed while three wide and also between horses backstretch and into the turn, brushed in traffic, fell back through the bend, two path while again in some tight quarters toward the latter part of the turn, weakened through the stretch as well. SIR GAR D'LYON came in start crowding inner rivals, lacked early foot, failed to respond when asked for the drive. WINE MONEY back off the early pace after being crowded just after the start, attempted to advance while between horses midway on the turn, checked up in tight quarters to lose all chance. STREET MOMENT flashed some early foot in the second group along the inside, bumped and then bounced into the rail entering the turn and was also eliminated from contention. KISSINTHELADIES broke out and bumped an outer rival at he break, finished early.
