SPINELLI moved up inside while asked a bit early to put a head in front before a furlong, edged clear through a lively opening quarter, maintained daylight through the turn along the inside, extended that advantage through the lane in a sharp effort. SU WIN away well, raced behind the winner up the backstretch along the inside, moved out a bit and chased that one through the turn and into the lane, could do little with that same rival while clearly second best. ROYALLY BLUE void of early foot, saved ground into the lane to improve inside of several rivals, continued mildly to the wire to finish up best of the rest. DENVER'S ALLEY broke alertly, within striking distance while off the inside, continued outside the winner through the turn while maintaining striking distance, went evenly through the lane in lacking a closing response. COOEY behind the pace while well out in the strip, came four wide out of the turn, lacked a serious closing kick. MYWIFEKNOWSITALL in mid pack while racing off the inside, went one paced through the lane to also be found lacking in the run to the wire. HEART BEATS TRUE (IRE) off a step slow, trailed throughout to be always outrun.
