FIVEEYESONSKYSTARS broke sharply, relinquished the advantage, stalked the pace in the three path, advanced late in the turn, took over, drew clear when straightened for home, enough left to hold the runner up safe at the wire. ROAR READY void of speed off rail, began to advance midway on the bend while still out in the strip, came four wide out of the turn, roused for the drive, closed with good resolve to be steadily getting to the winner. PEPPERMINT MAN moved up after the start to set he early pace, continued to hold the advantage into the turn, surrendered to the winner entering the stretch, gradually weakened to prove no match for the top two, saved the show while continuing inside. JOEY MUSCLES with the early leaders, vied between horses into the turn, faltered in the drive. SWASHBUCKLE in tight at the break to be away slowly, moved closer up the inside into the turn, shifted of off the rail began to weaken by late in the bend. VIRGINIA CITY back off the pace while in the two path, floated out to be three wide into the lane, had little left for the run to the wire.
