Footnotes
NOBLE TIGER forward from the start, prompted the pacesetter from the outside through the first turn and onto the backstretch, continued to apply pressure the middle half mile, eased up to engage that same foe entering the stretch, gained the advantage, responded when the runner up in turn challeged from the outside, late duel, dug in late to narrowly prevail in game fashion. DISATTACHED bothered slightly in some traffic into the first turn, settled in the second flight three wide, crept closer while still in the three path turning for home, outside bid late, denied. SULION devoid of any speed while saving ground, continued see them all while along the inside final turn, steered out widest in upper stretch then staged a mild, belated rally to be along for the show, no threat to the top pair. COMPLEXED broke alertly from the outside, cleared into the first turn, set the pace while racing toward the inside, held a slight advantage into the lane then began to weaken when headed by the winner upper stretch, continued to falter to lose the show in the final strides. OUTTA MONEY evenly paced, raced in the three path through the final turn and into the stretch, continued evenly to he wire. OPERATION TORCH forwardly placed while rank between foes into the first turn bothering the runner up, relaxed a bit to race in the second flight while still between horses the next half mile, gave way in the drive. TALL STORY in the second group while along the inside, asked for run into the far turn, no response, faded stretch.
