Footnotes
TEE AT ONE close up from the start in the two path, pressed onto the backstretch, put a head in front into the far turn when vying between horses, continued to hold a narrow advantage into the stretch, long drive, dug in late to narrowly prevail in game fashion while closest to the inside of the first flight at the wire. NAME IT shuffled back to last in the first turn in traffic, moved out, closer on the outside late backstretch and into the far turn, floated out five wide into the stretch in losing some ground, set down challenged on the outside with less than a sixteenth remaining, battled to the finish, narrowly missed. ACT A FOOL forwardly placed along the inside after breaking on top, raced in the second flight up the backstretch, continued to save ground far turn, steered out three wide for room late in that bend, challenged into the lane, outkicked late while between the top two at the wire. LORD EDDARD STARK settled off the pace and the inside, fell back to trail from between horses midway on the final turn, two path into the lane, in some traffic upper stretch then showed some belated interest with clear the final furlong. GOLD FOOT away in good order from the outside, cleared to the inside before a quarter, set or forced the pace the middle half while remaining along the inside, began to falter entering the stretch. KALIK four wide when off the pace through the first turn, moved closer onto the backstretch, pressed the issue into the far turn, appeared to weakening when floated out four wide between horses turning for home, continued to weaken.
