SOFOCLES forward from the start off the inside, crept closer three wide through the turn, challenged on the outside entering the stretch, drifted out nearing the furlong groundfs, dueled past the furlong marker and then proved best under firm handling. RODHAN broke well from the outside, dueled up the backstretch outside, raced between foes and inside the winner exiting the turn, dueled with that one and proved stubborn to the end. FREEDOM STREET settled behind the dueling leaders early toward the inside, continued within striking distance of the lead back entering the stretch, lacked a winning response to challenge the top two late, up for the show. BLEU MARTINI shuffled at the break to be last away, saved ground through the turn when still back, displayed some mild interest in the late to better his position, not a serious threat. INHONOROFSONNY broke well just to the inside of the runner up, alternated with that one in the run up the backstretch and into the turn, was the first to blink with less than a quarter to run, continued to gradually weaken and was caught for the show late. FLYING ASH raced in mid pack while well out in the strip, continued on the outside through the turn, came up empty for the stretch run. CHING CHING fell back to trail after the start, moved out, came four wide for the drive, failed to muster a rally.
