Footnotes
WINPLACEANDSHOW in the second flight up the backstretch off the inside, joined the two leaders three wide for the turn, narrowly showed the way into the lane, responded when the runner up came calling soon after, long, spirited duel to the wife, dug in, narrowly best in game fashion. PERMIAN BASIN last away, tucked inside while within contact of the leaders, continued to save ground far turn, angled out when moving to mount a challenge late in the bend, outside bid, dueled to the wire, turned back. WANDER WOMAN back off the pace and the inside, angled out a bit late in the turn, shifted out widest when straightened for home, staged a mild rally while not a serious threat to the top pair. SOROKIN broke up front, helped show the way out of the chute, continued to force the issue up front into the turn, weakened from between horses upper stretch. FLOWKO with the pace onto the main track, dueled the middle three furlongs, faltered from along the inside though the stretch. LATE NIGHT TEXT in the second flight while outside, four wide into the turn, began to weaken midway on the bend and trailed home.
