Footnotes
DETOX settled off the pace and the inside, stalked the pace into the turn in hand, ranged up three wide to challenge turning for home under continued confident handling, wore that rival down with less than a furlong remaining and edged clear. PARDON MY DOLLY closest to the leader into the turn while in hand, advanced on that one and challenged from the outside with a quarter to run, gained the advantage briefly into the lane, offered but brief resistance to the winner when straightened for home then could not keep pace. OSIRIS WHISPER void of any early foot, rallied through some traffic through the lane to be up for the show late, no menace to the top two. GRANT ME PEACE last away, continued to lag despite some encouragement, came three wide out of the turn, dropped to the inside for the run to the wire, improved with interest but was outkicked for the show spot late. SWELL back off the pace, raced three wide into the lane, lacked a serious closing response. AMERICAN REIGN forwardly placed behind the pace toward the rail while inside the winner, asked along in an attempt to keep up with that one exiting the turn, shifted out to a position directly behind that same foe, went flat through the final furlong to losing position. SATIRA broke on top, showed the way early while under pressure from the runner up, vied with that one and the winner into the lane closest to the rail, gave way when headed and steadily faded.
