BETTER THEN LOTTO was off alertly to show the way along the inside in the early stages, faced pressure from TO JOEY entering the turn, continued to battle that foe down the stretch bumping repeatedly but emerged as the winner. TO JOEY bumped inner foe at the start, gave chase from the three path up the backstretch, began to apply pressure in the turn before contesting the lead at the top of the stretch, fought with BETTER THEN LOTTO through contact but was ultimately bested. ACTION DELIGHT bumped outer foe at the start, was quick to find an inside rating just behind the pace, backed off in the turn to swing out into the four path entering the stretch and brushed into MY MOM FOREVER but was no match for the top two, clear of the rest for the show award. GIRVIN'S GAMBIT broke outward into rivals, trailed for most, passed tired foes in the stretch. MY MOM FOREVER was forwardly placed four wide in the early stages, brushed with ACTION DELIGHT midway around the turn, lacked the response needed in the stretch. CADENCED was caught between foes at the start but held position well, angled out into the five path to advanced into a tracking position, retreated through the turn. AWEGOD hopped slightly at the start, angled to the far outside for the run up the backstretch, retreated in the far turn, showed little in the stretch. OBJECTION WAS LODGED BY THE TRAINER OF TO JOEY CLAIMING FOUL ON BETTER THEN LOTTO FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. THIS OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS AND NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
