Footnotes
OPEN COURT broke in, bumped at the start, dropped back to race mid pack early on, advanced two wide near the quarter pole, four wide into the upper stretch and finished well to draw clear under steady handling. MAJESTIC DELIGHT set all the pace to cross over from the outside to control the early pace, clear near the eighth pole but was no match for the winner late. MOSAI broke to the outside, bumped with rival, tracked the early leader three wide and weakened a bit through the drive. BE WISER BOB squeezed back at the break, raced with the second flight after the poor start, moved up through the stretch three wide and improved position. SECRET POWER settled off the early pave in hand, moved up four wide from the outside near the quarter pole and needed more in the drive. HOLY COW stalked the pace and failed to sustain a bid. NUMINOUS stalked the top trio, raced three wide near the quarter pole, five wide into the upper stretch and weakened through the drive. DR DANIEL squeezed back at the break, trailed early after the poor start and never was a factor. VAN CLEEF forced to take up at the break, raced far back and never menaced.
