MY FOOLISH NOTION tracked the early sprinter down the backstretch, asked near the three eighths pole, cleared off to long lead and kept to the task to the wire under steady handling. ROCKIN EMPIRE dropped back early, made a three to four wide bid in the lane rallied up for the place position. ST JOE FURY was off slowly, raced from the inside through the far turn into the lane and had not enough for the top pair. DR DANIEL was off slowly, raced near the back after the poor start, raced near the inside and needed more. GONDORFF dropped back early on and showed little. TORONJA forwardly placed early and failed to sustain a bid. COUSIN VINNY sprinted off to a clear early lead and was done early.
