TIFFANY GOLD broke running toward the inside, got clear before a furlong, lightly rated in the run through the turn to get a bit of a breather, extended that advantage a bit into the lane then held the runner up at bay late while inside that one under steady handling. LE AMAZONIA broke with the winner inside that one, fell back off that same rival, moved out chased through the turn from off the rail, set down for the drive, could not close the gap on the victor the final furlong. GREAT VENEZUELA in the second group outside, within striking distance three wide and outbound of the runner up, could not get to that or the winner in the drive, clear of the rest. GREENFIELD COUGAR off step slow, back off the pace and the inside, floated out a bit by COCO ABARRIO midway up the backstretch to be four wide into the turn, came three wide for the drive, lacked a serious closing response. COCO ABARRIO in mid pack up the backstretch out in the course, edged closer in the four path with three furlongs, saw that progress stalk midway on the bend, lost some ground to the frontrunners into the lane then went evenly to the wire. TREE C'S KAI settled off the pace along the inside, tired through the stretch.
