TAPSTICK settled early on while never far back, roused into the far turn, mounted a four wide rally to upper stretch, responded well in the lane while on his left lead, took command into the final sixteenth and proved best late. MAGNETO prominent in the early going, tucked in to save ground while well placed into the backstretch, tipped to the two path nearing the quarter marker, vied for the lead into upper stretch then took command past the furlong pole, could not hold off the oncoming winner in the final sixteenth but was a clear second. CAPTCHA broke alertly and went up to assume early command, set moderate fractions while prompted along the backstretch, shook free into the far turn then met the bid of MAGNETO nearing the top of the lane, battled to the furlong grounds then yielded to the top pair and was a clear third. I'M TUFF ENOUGH forwardly placed while four to five wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace while widest along the backstretch, chased three wide into the far turn, could not sustain a bid into the stretch drive and flattened out in the final furlong. MY FOOLISH NOTION raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, went up to prompt the moderate pace along the backstretch, lost position into the far turn then weakened. HANDSOME FOX was forwardly placed while three wide and between foes heading to the first turn, tracked the pace from the second flight approaching the half-mile, dropped back to trail entering the far turn then gave way.
