Footnotes
FULL NELSON well placed while saving ground, tipped out along the far turn then made a quick move to take command at the quarter marker, drew off through the lane and was ridden out to win as much the best. KHOPESH settled while saving ground, tipped to the two path nearing the top of the stretch, ran on between foes at the furlong grounds, was no match late for the winner but stayed on in the final yards to earn the place. NEVER SAY NEVER took back in the early stages and was content to trail into the backstretch, was last into the far turn then swung four wide to upper stretch, could not impact the winner in the drive but kept on late and just missed for the place, while just getting up for the show. SOUPER LEGACY last away from the gate, rushed up four then three wide into the first turn, engaged MANHATTAN BOY and stalked the moderate pace along the backstretch, pressed two then three wide into the far turn, weakened into the stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. MANHATTAN BOY hard sent to vie for the early lead, assumed command then set moderate fractions to the backstretch, dictated terms to the far turn, was overtaken by the winner at the quarter marker, could not keep pace with FULL NELSON into the lane and gave way. FREDERICKSBURG settled in the second flight to begin, never far back while between rivals along the backstretch, asked for run two wide into the far turn, swung three wide to upper stretch then failed to threaten in the drive.
