Footnotes
GOLDEN VALLEY crowded at the start and a step slow leaving the gate, settled in the second flight early on then advanced between foes heading into the turn, raced in tight into the bend then loomed and took command nearing the quarter pole, kicked clear into the lane, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. DAKOTA'S LIL AUROR settled just off of the early pace and tracked from the inside, waited for racing room nearing the quarter marker, angled out to upper stretch then closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch but was a clear second. FROSTY BELLE broke out and crowded outer rival at the start, settled off of the early pace, saved ground nearing the quarter marker and kept an inside path to the stretch, shifted out at the furlong grounds, was no match for the top pair into the final sixteenth but kept on late and got up for the show. LADY QUESTION broke out at the start, took command and set the pace to the turn, came under pressure nearing the quarter marker then overtaken to upper stretch, chased to the furlong grounds, was no match for the top pair into the final sixteenth then was outfinished for the show. EVANORA raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, was caught in tight and checked nearing the three-eighths, kept on from the four path into upper stretch, could not impact the leaders to the final sixteenth but stayed on late in a good effort. SAMARITAN'S JOY bobbled then bumped at the start and trailed in the early stages, settled outside of rivals along the backstretch, coaxed four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, kept a wide path to upper stretch and failed to threaten in the stretch drive. JUNEGENAI broke out at the start and allowed to settle in the early stages, trailed into the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and passed a tiring foe in the lane. SWEET DREAM LADY raced close up to the early pace while outside of rivals, tracked four wide to the turn, chased to the quarter pole, couldn't keep pace to upper stretch then gave way in the stretch drive.
