AMANDE broke out at the start, raced close up to the early pace and stalked from the two path heading into the turn, went up to vie for the lead to upper stretch, dueled WINROOSKI into the lane, repelled that rival into the final sixteenth then held safely over the oncoming runner-up. MO JAVA broke out at the start, rated just off of the early pace and saved ground to the turn, was well placed to the quarter marker then angled three wide to upper stretch, made a sustained rally to the final sixteenth, finished well but couldn't reel in the winner late and bested the rest. R TUN WHO crowded and off slow to begin, settled to the turn then made a wide advance nearing the quarter marker, swung to the five to six path to upper stretch, closed well to the final sixteenth and held for the show. WINDRUSH crowded a bit at the start then unhurried early on, trailed nearing the quarter marker, advanced along the rail into the stretch but needed more in the final stages. WINROOSKI broke alertly and took early command, showed good speed while leading from the inside heading into the turn, dug in while under pressure into upper stretch, couldn't hold off oncoming rivals into the final sixteenth and faded late. PRISM POOL PAT hard to load prior to the start, was away in good order then took back and tracked from the second flight, chased two wide to the quarter marker, swung further out into upper stretch then angled back in, lacked a rally at mid-stretch and weakened in the final stages.
