JALAPENO set a contested pace, edged clear leaving the turn and held his advantage thereafter under a strong hand ride. ALL TO WIN chased along the inside, was angled out five wide during the stretch run, responded to brisk pressure and gained the place spot. FINAL PAYMENT chased the pace between foes under a snug hold and kept on while three wide in the stretch for a minor share. SMOKE AN A PANCAKE prompted the early pace and came up empty in the late going. TEOFIMO off slowly, was outpaced and showed late interest along the inside rail in the stretch. TROOPS outrun early, was urged on the turn, went three wide into the stretch and proved no factor. STICKY MCSHNICKENS raced striking position while five wide, remained five wide for the stretch run and offered no finishing punch. DEMOLITION outpaced while four wide, swung out five wide into the stretch and did not menace.
