CRUZIN MAN showed speed inside and set the pace to the quarter marker, dug in into upper stretch, met late bid of runner-up, unyielding in deep stretch, held. MAITRE D checked in tight early, recovered and tracked from the inside into the turn, got caught in traffic at the quarter pole, game rail bid into the stretch, was denied for the win and bested the rest. MR. BINKS tracked three wide to turn, outkicked in the stretch, held third. FAST FIXER tracked outside, gain four wide to the quarter pole, flattened out late. NERO TULIP (GB) sent, pressed two wide to quarter marker, chased to mid-stretch, faded. BEACH COLT (CHI) shuffled start, settled, coaxed two wide upper, no late rally. ACE VENTURA (CHI) squeezed start, trailed to turn, no late response. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START OF THIS RACE. IN ADDITION, THE JOCKEY OF ACE VENTURA (CHI) LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE JOCKEY OF MR. BINKS, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE AT THE START. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
