LONDON pressed the pace from three wide through the turn, assumed command in upper stretch, went clear inside the eighth pole and held off the late bid of the runner-up. LADY CAJUN stalked the pacesetters to the head of the stretch, found her best stride late to surge in the final sixteenth and was denied by the winner having to settle for second best. LADY SUMMER tracked the leaders through the turn and gained ground with a mild bid to be along for the show. WESTSIDE SUGAR set the pace under constant pressure to the top of the stretch, could not match the winner down the lane and weakened in the final furlong. MIRIAM DANCES was a half step slow at the start dropping to the rear of the field to trail and passed tiring rivals coming home. NOFFIES LATE NITE went evenly failing to menace. HIGHER SELF was never a factor and dropped away through the lane.
