GARRINCHA well placed in the early going, stalked the leading pair into the turn then bid three wide approaching the quarter marker, took command into upper stretch, shook free into the final furlong and kicked clear in the late stages. SONG SO SWEET settled early, saved ground to the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter marker, vied for the lead nearing the top of the stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. GUYS TRIP contested the early pace from the outside, took a narrow lead midway through the bend then was overtaken to upper stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final furlong and just held for third. ANTILLEAN broke awkwardly and spotted the field to begin, advanced into the turn then was held up in traffic mid-way through the bend, made a steady advance along the rail to mid-stretch, could not sustain that run in the late stages and just missed for third. MY LUCKY ANGEL raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, chased two wide to the quarter marker then gave way in the stretch. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE settled early, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, passed tiring rivals in the late stages. PAXTON settled mid-pack in the early stages, coaxed five to six wide to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response in the stretch drive. LAST SHALL B FIRST lacked early speed, saved ground to the stretch and did no threaten in the lane. BAROQUEN RECORD contested the pace to the turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter marker and faded in the drive. EASIER SAID settled mid-pack, chased two to three wide and between foes nearing the quarter marker, faltered in the stretch drive. BLAZING TYREEK tracked the early pace from the second flight, ran in pursuit three to four wide to the quarter marker, tired in the stretch.
