BE THANKFUL sent for the early lead, assumed command and dictated terms to the quarter marker, kicked clear into the final furlong and held sway to the wire. TRAVEL HAPPY prominent away from the start, stalked the pace two wide to the quarter marker, chased BE THANKFUL into the stretch, could not reel in the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. FREE TO ROAM chased three wide to the quarter pole, ran in pursuit four wide into the lane, lacked the needed response into the final sixteenth but stayed on to earn the show honors. ONE OF ONE settled early, advanced four wide at the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch drive and finished evenly. DENVER'S ALLEY chased from the inside and was well placed to the quarter marker, outkicked into the final furlong and weakened in deep stretch. PLAGNE CHAMPAGNE lacked early speed, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, no threat late. TWIZZLE rated off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn and lacked a response in the stretch. BUBBLES UP settled off of the early pace, saved ground to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive.
