VINO SANTO forwardly placed in the early stages, rated off of the leading pair into the backstretch, given his cue into the second turn, mounted a two wide rally to the stretch, vied for the lead to the furlong marker then took command, kicked clear to the final sixteenth and drew away late under moderate urging. SARATOGA CRUISER unhurried in the early stages, roused two wide to upper stretch, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not impact the winner late and got up for second. MR BRIZEL settled off of the early pace, saved ground to the far turn then angled three wide to upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and just missed for second, while holding clearly for third. KUWAIT TOWERS settled off of the early pace, advanced three then five wide into upper stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth and finished evenly. GREY SHADOW sent to contest the early pace, assumed command into the backstretch and set a moderate pace to the far turn, kicked clear nearing the quarter marker, was overtaken into the final furlong and faded late. WILL OF A WARRIOR settled off of the early pace, coaxed four wide to upper stretch, no late response. CHROMOTION broke alertly and was sent for the early lead, contested the pace to the backstretch, stalked GREY SHADOW to the far turn, could not keep pace to the top of the stretch and tired in the drive.
