GOLDEN VALLEY broke alertly then ceded the early lead, attended to the moderate pace to the far turn, bid two wide at the quarter marker and took command to upper stretch, kicked clear at the furlong marker, drew away in the late stages and was geared down nearing the wire. BAL DE MAR assumed early command, set a moderate pace to the second turn, was overtaken by GOLDEN VALLEY into upper stretch, chased the winner to the final sixteenth and held for second. ATTENDING settled then saved ground in the early stages, advanced to upper stretch, tipped out into the final furlong, was gaining in deep stretch and just missed for second. POCKET PAIR tracked the moderate pace from the inside, was well placed to the second turn, asked for run two wide to upper stretch, no late rally. A GREAT DATE settled while never far back, lacked the needed response nearing the quarter marker and weakened in the stretch drive. BIANKA HEART allowed to settle away from the start, outrun to the second turn, was eased through the stretch, pulled up nearing the sixteenth-pole and walked off under her own power.
