LIGHTS OF BROADWAY settled just off of the early pace, tracked from the inside up the backstretch, angled three wide into the far turn then was urged along into the stretch, closed determinedly into the final furlong, vied for the lead at the sixteenth-marker, took a narrow lead in deep stretch and held in the final strides to prevail. DRINK N WINK prominent early, stalked the decent pace two wide to the far turn, roused to upper stretch, vied for the lead at the furlong grounds then met the bid of LIGHTS OF BROADWAY nearing the final sixteenth, was bested by the determined winner and was clear at the wire for second. MERLIN sent to assume command away from the start, set a decent pace to the second turn, dug in into upper stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and held safely in the end for third. DOUBLE NEAT tracked the decent pace three wide along the backstretch, chased three to four wide into the far turn, ran evenly while in pursuit to mid-stretch and was outkicked in the final stages. JACK KEROUAC settled mid-pack and outside of rivals to begin, chased three wide into the far turn, could not find the needed response nearing the furlong marker and did not offer a late rally. NINJA STAR squeezed at the start and off a bit slowly, settled inside of runners to the first turn then checked along that bend, raced in traffic while saving ground along the backstretch, ran in pursuit from the inside into the far turn, could not find the needed response into upper stretch and weakened in the stretch drive. MY MAN FLINT unhurried in the early stages, trailed to the quarter marker, was outrun to upper stretch then was eased in the lane and walked off.
