PARTY SHAKER sent for the early lead, set a moderate pace to the backstretch, drew clear nearing the quarter marker and held sway to mid-stretch, kept to task to the final sixteenth and held safely for the win in the late stages. TINTA ROJA settled off of the early pace, caught a bit in tight into the first turn, inched closer along the backstretch, angled three wide into the far turn, rallied into upper stretch, was gaining in the late stages and held well at the wire for second. TRUMPETTA forwardly placed away from the start, tracked from the inside to the backstretch, tipped out two wide for the drive, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and just missed for second. PEMBERLEY settled in the second flight and three wide early on, chased between rivals into the far turn, asked for run three to four wide into the stretch and could not muster the needed late response. WHAT A KNOCKOUT settled away from the start then was caught in tight into the first turn, unhurried into the backstretch, saved ground into the far turn, maintained an inside lane to the stretch and finished evenly. HOLDER CLOSE settled outside of rivals, went up to track the pace three to four wide along the backstretch, lost position into the second turn and faltered in the stretch. SEEKINGBYTHESTORM forwardly placed into the first turn, tracked the pace between rivals and two wide nearing the half-mile pole, lost position into the far turn and tired in the stretch drive.
