Footnotes
CONQUERING KING in a bit tight away from the start, shook free then tracked the early pace from between rivals, went up to contest the pace along the backstretch, took command into the far turn, kicked clear into the stretch, held sway while kept to task in the late stages, was unsaddled on the backstretch and walked off under his own power. RASHID tracked the early pace three deep, was well placed along the backstretch then asked for run two wide into the far turn, outkicked to upper stretch, chased the winner into the final sixteenth and held at the wire for second. OASIS PRINCE rated just off of the early pace and tracked from the inside heading to the backstretch, was caught in tight between rivals into the far turn, angled out for the stretch drive and chased to mid-stretch, could not muster a final response and just missed for second. ADIOS BUSTER squeezed at the start, allowed to settle in the early stages, saved ground to the stretch and passed tiring rivals late. BOBBY BOB keen early on, assumed command into the first turn and set the pace to the half-mile pole, was overtaken into the second turn, chased to upper stretch then faded in the final furlong. REMINDER settled early on while never far back, was asked for run three wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response to upper stretch and weakened in the late stages.
