SKIPPING STARS set the early pace on the inside, then vied inside for the lead, shook free on the far turn, responded when roused, pulled away in upper stretch, then was all out late to hold on. BRAVO ROUGH pressed the pace early, then vied two wide for the lead, chased the winner on the far turn, re rallied outside in midstretch, dug in gamely to the finish and needed a bit more. DOUBLE MILES was outrun early, came two wide into the lane and closed belatedly for third. SIR CROSS TRAFFIC bobbled a bit at the break, then pulled and was steadied along on the first turn, continued to pull while tracking on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and lacked a response. VALUE INTHE CLOUDS broke a step slow, stalked two wide, chased on the far turn and gave way.
