VERONIKA Z pressed the pace to midway on the far turn, assumed command from the tiring pacesetter turning for home, drifted out to the six path in mid-stretch while digging in to hold the advantage and held the persistent closer safe in deep stretch. BOOMBOX BETTY tracked the leaders through the far turn, rallied up the rail coming home to loom in mid-stretch and hung in the final furlong failing to get passed. CALLING THE SHOTS reserved off the pace racing in mid-field to the top of the stretch and rallied well splitting rivals in the lane to be gaining late. HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE stalked the pace from five wide through the fianl turn to be well placed turning for home and lackd a clsoing bid going evenly in the lane. GIDDY UP BABY raced near the rear throughout, was put to a drive along the inside on the far turn and passed weaker rivals in the stretch. SHEDOO KITTEN was away a step slow to be the early trailer and was never a factor. DREAM DIAMOND set teh pace under steady pressure to midway on the final bend and gave way.
