REINA DEL VIENTO assumed early command, made her own pace while carving out decent fractions up the backstretch, showed the way to the quarter marker, drew clear into the stretch, wandered a bit into the final furlong but held sway to the wire. ADSILA tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed to the far turn, chased into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final furlong and ran on to be second best. WELL SHAKEN was carried out on the run to the first turn, recovered and settled into the backstretch, saved ground to the far turn then advanced nearing the quarter marker, tipped out two wide into upper stretch and rallied to the furlong grounds, was outkicked into the final sixteenth but stayed on well to earn the show honors. COME ON POPPI took back on the run to the first turn and was unhurried into the backstretch, advanced three wide to the quarter marker, could not find a final response into the stretch and finished evenly. KATE THE SMATE tracked the pace three wide to the far turn, rallied to the quarter marker, could not sustain that run to the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. HOT COCOA steadied while in tight on the run to the first turn, settled off of the early pace, coaxed four wide to the quarter marker, could not muster a final response. MUNCHKIN tracked the decent pace two wide and between rivals, could not keep pace to upper stretch then tired in the drive. FLOWERBOMB settled three wide into the first turn, lost position leaving the half-mile marker then came up empty entering the far turn. DIVINE BLUE was very rank leaving the start, bothered a rival into the first turn then was pulled up before the run onto the backstretch.
