DIXIE PREACH was caught a bit in tight and checked on the run to the first turn, settled into the backstretch and saved ground to the far turn, angled four to five wide then loomed at the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch and drew clear to the furlong marker, kept to task in the final sixteenth and maintained a clear lead to the wire. LOOKIN FOR ROSES allowed to settle away from the start, coaxed along three wide to the half-mile marker, chased four wide into the far turn, was outkicked into the stretch, stayed on into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. TRIUMPHANT ROAD settled in the early stages while never far back, raced between foes and two wide into the second turn then was caught in tight at the quarter marker, swung out for the stretch drive, could not impact the top pair late but stayed on to earn the show honors in a good effort. GET READY TO ROCK was forwardly placed in the early running, stalked the decent pace three deep up the backstretch, chased three to four wide and between rivals into the far turn, lacked a response at mid-stretch and gave way in the final sixteenth. WILLINGNESS hustled for the early lead, assumed command and set a decent pace to the backstretch, showed the way into the far turn, was overtaken at the quarter marker, chased the winner to mid-stretch then faded in the late stages. KRIOYO tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed into the backstretch, chased from the inside into the far turn, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, could not find a final response and weakened. STONE COLD FLEX raced close up to the early pace, stalked between foes and two wide up the backstretch, chased into the far turn, could not keep pace at the quarter pole and tired in the final furlong.
