LADY OF CITY reserved off the pace early, commenced a steady advance on the turn, circled six wide to prominence turning for home and drove on passed the leader in a sustained bid to be clear late. LADY CROSS set the pace under steady pressure to the top of the lane, kicked clear in upper stretch and was oufinished late having to settle for second best. MAXYMISS pressed the pace through the turn and failed to mount a closing rally running-on in the lane evenly. STARSHIP COUGAR was slow early to be near the rear of the field and rallied in upper stretch with good late interest. EPIC REAY stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to threaten in an early drive at the quarter pole and flattened out coming home. TWIN STARS raced up from the back half of the field into contention on the bend and failed to sustain the bid turning for home and faded in the stretch. STARSHIP EXCELSIOR failed to menace. NYGHT DANCER was not a factor. WINNING CHARM chased the leaders down the backside and was through early.
