LINDSAY SMILES set the pace under constant pressure to the far turn, dueled on the lead from the quarter pole to mid-stretch, surrrendered the lead in midway down the lane and came again gamely in the final seventy yards to prevail in a game effort. PRECIOUS MEDLEY pressed the pace to the far turn, edged up to vie on the front, took a short lead in mid-stretch and was outgamed late in the lane. MIA FAMILIA tracked the leaders through the turn, rallied steadily four wide down the lane to loom at the sixteenth pole and failed to get passed the top pair. STARSHIP MELODY was well placed within striking distance of the leaders turning for home and lacked a closing kick going evenly in the lane. OLIVIA VALENTINA broke a half step slow, moved up to chase the leaders from six wide down the backstretch and flattened out midway on the final turn. SUPER SIENNA failed to menace. ELENIQUE was not a factor.
