BIG PARADISE stalked the early pace three wide, made a quick move and took command to upper stretch, kicked clear at the furlong marker, was ridden out late and was much the best. BACK EM UP pressed the pace to the quarter marker, chased BIG PARADISE to the furlong grounds, could not keep pace with the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. FAR FROM A STAR hustled away from the start, showed good speed and assumed early command, set the pace to the turn then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, gave way in the stretch but was able to save third. ENDRICK rated just off of the early pace, ran in pursuit of the leading trio nearing the quarter marker, could not find the needed response into the stretch and weakened. ADVERSARY a step slow away from the start, chased the decent pace from outside of rivals heading into the turn, coaxed two to three wide to the stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. TAKE THE GOLD settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, swung three wide for the stretch drive and did not offer a late response. TIGRE hopped at the start and was off slowly, lacked early speed, trailed to upper stretch and did not factor late.
