ANTILLEAN settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, mounted a rail bid to upper stretch when GUYS TRIP drifted at the three-sixteenths marker, vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, took command and held a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, dug in late and held for the win in deep stretch. SONG SO SWEET raced close up to the early pace while three wide, stalked into the turn, was floated to the four path into upper stretch, recovered and battled for the lead into the final furlong, was outkicked in deep stretch and just got up for second at the wire. GUYS TRIP vied for the early lead from between rivals, took command and set a moderate pace into the turn, drifted to the two to three path to upper stretch, lost the lead nearing the furlong marker but fought on to the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and just missed for second, while holding clearly for third. HE'S A DAREDEVIL unhurried away from the start, advanced outside of rivals into the turn, roused three wide for the stretch drive, could not find the needed late response and finished evenly. THEO'S THUNDER took back off of the early pace, coaxed two wide along the turn, angled out for the stretch drive and lacked the needed late response. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE was prominent in the early going, chased the pace from the inside then two wide approaching the turn, lost position nearing the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch. LAST SHALL B FIRST forwardly placed in the early running, chased the pace heading to the turn, could not keep pace into the bend, trailed to upper stretch and was not persevered with in the late stages.
