IT'S ONLY WORDS off slow leaving the start, advanced into the turn, angled out and loomed four wide nearing the top of the lane, took command and kicked clear into the final furlong, held sway to the final sixteenth and kept to task late. PACIFIC PRINCESS unhurried in the early stages, saved ground to the quarter marker, angled out to upper stretch, closed willingly into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch and held safely for second. MIGUEL'S BELLE took back off of the contested early pace, swung four to five wide for the stretch drive, sustained her bid to the final sixteenth, was outfinished late for second and was clear in the end for third. STAR OF SATURN rated off of the early pace, chased three to four wide to the quarter marker, angled six wide to upper stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth and offered a mild late rally. MINXY broke alertly, showed good early speed and dueled CAJUN ANTHEM into the turn, shook free from that rival into upper stretch, was overtaken at the furlong grounds then gave way in the final sixteenth. R FIREBIRD pressed the early pace three deep and from between rivals, lost position into the turn, fought on and chased from the inside into the stretch, could not find a final response and weakened in the final sixteenth. CAJUN ANTHEM prominent away from the start, vied for the early lead from between rivals, dueled outside of MINXY into the turn, was repelled into upper stretch and faded in the final furlong. PATTY'S HAVING FUN squeezed leaving the start and off a bit slowly, settled outside of rivals early on, swung five to six wide for the stretch drive and did not factor late. JUST TAKE NOTES disputed the early pace four deep, chased three wide to the quarter marker then vied for the lead to upper stretch, could not keep pace approaching the final furlong and came up empty in the late stages.
