Footnotes
DEMAR'S LEGACY hustled for the early lead, showed good speed and set the pace into the turn, kicked clear to mid-stretch, was all out into the final sixteenth, drifted out in deep stretch, dug in in the final strides and lasted for a game win. VAYESTA rated off of the solid early pace, saved ground into the turn and trailed to the quarter marker, angled widest into the final sixteenth, closed with a rush in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while just getting up in time for second in a blanket finish. FOUNDER'S DAY settled off of the quick early pace, saved ground to the quarter marker then responded into the stretch, made a strong rally to the final sixteenth and just missed for the win and place, while holding for the show. HEIR TO THE ROAR was pinched at the start and off slowly, advanced outside of rivals into the turn, swung five wide for the stretch drive, closed willingly into the final sixteenth but came up just short. HAPPY RIDE showed good speed away from the start, went up and pressed the quick pace outside of DEMAR'S LEGACY into the turn, was repelled into upper stretch, re-bid between rivals into the final sixteenth, got caught in tight in deep stretch, checked in the final strides and was outfinished at the wire. AMOR Y CONTROL tracked the quick early pace, was caught in traffic while three wide nearing the top of the lane, found room between rivals into upper stretch, battled to the final sixteenth and was outkicked in deep stretch. WARDA tracked the quick early pace, ran in pursuit three wide nearing the quarter marker, chased four wide into upper stretch, could not muster the needed response into the final sixteenth and finished evenly. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING IN DEEP STRETCH. IN ADDITION, THE JOCKEY FOR HAPPY RIDE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF DEMAR'S LEGACY, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN THE FINAL SIXTEENTH. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
