MIMI WILLY settled just behind the early pace and saved ground to the first turn, was well placed along the backstretch, saved ground to the quarter marker and mounted an inside rally to the stretch, responded well into the final furlong and vied for the lead into the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and edged away late for the win. INSOLENTA broke alertly, assumed early command and showed the way to the first turn, set a decent pace up the backstretch then drew clear heading to the far turn, dictated terms to the quarter marker then drifted out to upper stretch, led to the furlong marker, could not hold off of the oncoming winner into the final sixeenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and was a clear second. GIDDY UP BABY a bit slow into stride leaving the gate, settled along the backstretch then inched closer approaching the far turn, chased three wide to the quarter pole, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the leaders into deep stretch and was clear for third. LEVCHENKO off a step slowly leaving the start, recovered and tracked the pace from the second flight up the backstretch, chased from the rail into the second turn, could not find the needed response into the stretch and was outkicked late for third. VALLEY OF DAWN was void of early speed, trailed to the half-mile marker, improved position into the far turn, lacked the needed response into the stretch and passed tiring rivals late. CHACARERA was forwardly placed in the early going, stalked the decent pace up the backstretch, chased into the far turn then could not keep pace nearing the top of the stretch, was eased through the lane and walked off. KINTAP chased the early pace while three to four wide, ran in pursuit while widest up the backstretch, dropped back into the far turn and came up empty in the stretch drive.
