MEET ME IN THE AIR broke alertly and showed good speed away from the start, dueled for pace duties into the turn, pressed the pace two wide to the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch then kicked clear nearing the furlong marker, held sway to the final sixteenth and lasted for the win over the oncoming runner-up. GAME CHANGER JOLIE settled off of the early pace, got caught a bit in tight approaching the turn, swung five to six wide to upper stretch, finished well into the final sixteenth and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. MOONBEAMICECREAM rated off of the early pace, was well placed while saving ground into the turn, tipped out into the stretch, had a mild late kick and held safely for third. SWIFT CANDY raced close up to the early pace, stalked three wide to the quarter marker then was outkicked in the stretch drive. ONE MOMENT hustled away from the start, vied for the early lead then dueled for pace duties from the inside, pressed the pace to the quarter marker, battled to upper stretch then had the rider lose his crop at mid-stretch, could not keep pace to the final sixteenth and weakened. STARSHIP PARADISE settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked three wide into the turn, chased four wide to upper stretch then could not muster a late response. QUEENS DIPLOMAT took back off of the early pace, tracked two wide and between runners heading to the turn, could not keep pace to the quarter marker and lacked the needed response in the stretch.
