YAMAL rated nicely off of the early pace, asked for run at the three-eighths marker, loomed two wide to the quarter pole, took command to upper stretch and kicked clear at the furlong grounds, was ridden out in the final sixteenth and won as much the best. MASTER CHIEF MIKE tracked the early pace from the second flight, advanced four wide to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit heading to mid-stretch while on the left lead, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and bested the rest. HE'S MY UNCLE settled off of the early pace, rallied two to three wide to upper stretch, could not muster a final response but stayed on well late and earned the show honors. TA'VERY MUCH sent to assume early command, set a prompted pace up the backstretch, shook free into the turn then was confronted at the quarter marker, lost the lead to YAMAL into upper stretch, chased that rival to the furlong marker, gave way in the late stages and was outfinished for the minor awards. HARD TALK vied for the early lead from between rivals, prompted the pace two wide into the turn, lost position nearing the top of the lane, could not find more into the final furlong and weakened. SEEDORF got shuffled back soon after the start, lacked early speed, saved ground to the stretch then did not factor in the late stages. TAPS UNLIMITED raced close up to the early pace, stalked three wide to the turn, could not keep pace heading to the quarter marker, was eased through the stretch and walked off. POWER WRENCH broke out a bit at the start, lacked early speed, trailed to the quarter marker, was eased through the lane and walked off.
