OUTTA MONEY rated off of the dueling early leaders, was given his cue into the far turn, bid three wide to upper stretch, took command into the final furlong and held a clear lead to the final sixteenth, drifted out a path into deep stretch and held at the wire for the win. CORTA FUEGO rated off of the early pace, tracked from the inside up the backstretch, angled four wide at the quarter marker then rallied to mid-stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, steadied late behind the drifting winner and was well clear of the rest for second. ADIOS BUSTER off a step slowly leaving the gate, settled and saved ground to the first turn, unhurried up the backstretch, chased from the inside to the quarter marker, angled three wide into the lane, had a mild kick into the final sixteenth and got up for third. YANKEE DRUMMER settled off off the early pace, coaxed three wide to the far turn, swung four to five wide for the stretch drive, lacked a final response in deep stretch and just missed for third. ROYAL SALUTE broke alertly and showed good early speed, pressed the pace from the inside into the backstretch, dueled GIANLUCA BE LUCKY through quick fractions into the far turn, battled to upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded late. GIANLUCA BE LUCKY sent to contest the early pace, dueled ROYAL SALUTE through quick fractions up the backstretch, battled to the quarter marker then vied for the lead to upper stretch, was overtaken into the final furlong and gave way in the final stages. RAGMAN settled three wide to the first turn, coaxed along four wide to the half-mile marker, had no response into the far turn and did not factor late. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN. IN ADDITION, THE TRAINER AND JOCKEY OF CORTA FUEGO LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST OUTTA MONEY, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. THE STEWARDS RULED THAT WHILE CORTA FUEGO WAS IMPEDED IN THE FINAL SIXTEENTH, THE INTERFERENCE WAS NOT ENOUGH TO WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION, AND NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
