CARENTAN prominent early on, stalked the pace from the inside into the backstretch, shifted out and pressed the pace heading to the second turn, dueled WANNABEELOVED to the quarter marker, took command and repelled that rival into upper stretch, dug in into the final furlong and held off the oncoming runner-up in deep stretch. DOUBLE NEAT rated just off of the early pace, tracked two to three wide and between rivals along the backstretch, bid three deep nearing the quarter marker then gave chase into the stretch, responded into the final furlong and rallied to deep stretch, pressured the winner late but could not get by the determined winner and was well clear for second. WANNABEELOVED broke alertly, showed early speed and set the pace into the first turn, dictated terms up the backstretch then was pressed into the second turn by CARENTAN, dueled that rival to the quarter marker and battled into upper stretch, was repelled into the final furlong, yielded in the final sixteenth and held for third. DISATTACHED settled in the second flight and three wide heading into the clubhouse turn, tracked the moderate pace four wide up the backstretch, chased while within in contention heading to the quarter pole, could not find the needed response into the final furlong and flattened out late. NOBLE TIGER settled off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, was well placed up the backstretch, saved all of the ground to the far turn then angled out for the stretch drive, weakened in the lane and was outfinished for the show honors. GIFTEDBYDESIGN a step slow away from the start, settled in the early stages, chased three wide along the far turn then swung five wide for the stretch drive, ran evenly to the furlong marker and did not offer a final response. WINEMAN TRAX settled outside of rivals into the first turn, tucked in into the backstretch run and was unhurried to the half-mile marker, chased from the two path into the far turn then could not muster the needed response in the stretch drive. STARSHIP MAGELLAN allowed to settle in the early stages, trailed to the far turn, saved ground to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages. NOSTALGIC ONE settled off of the early pace, was coaxed four wide to upper stretch then came up empty in the drive.
