SIX FORTYFIVE broke alertly, showed good speed away from the start and assumed early command, showed the way along the first turn then carved out a moderate pace into the backstretch, dictated terms to the quarter pole, kicked clear to upper stretch, kept to task while clear into the final furlong and held sway in the late stages. ANIMATED broke out and bothered an outer rival at the start, settled off the early pace and saved ground to the first turn, shifted out along the backstretch, angled four then five wide into the far turn, chased SIX FORTYFIVE to the furlong marker, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. FLAG OFFICER rated off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, was well placed along the backstretch, lost position into the far turn, angled three wide at the quarter pole then was caught in tight into upper stretch, angled out for the drive, ran on into the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. SECRET POWER settled off of the early pace while never far back, raced off of the rail along the backstretch, was caught a bit in tight approaching the far turn, swung four to five wide for the stretch drive, chased to mid-stretch, could not find the needed late response and passed tires foes in the final stages. REPROCHE rated just off of the early pace, tracked three wide along the first turn then was well placed into the backstretch, chased the pacesetter between rivals heading to the quarter marker, could not find a response into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. KID KAOS lost his path at the start and was off slowly, was unhurried to the backstretch then advanced while widest nearing the half-mile point, chased four wide to the quarter pole, lost position into the stretch and gave way. SEAWISE was prominent in the early going, stalked the moderate pace up the backstretch, chased two wide and between rivals into the far turn, shifted to the rail and ran in pursuit to upper stretch, was outrun to the furlong pole and came up empty late.
