Footnotes
BRONZE BULLET tracked the solid early pace from outside of rivals, stalked three wide into the turn then was given his cue at the quarter pole, rallied to mid-stretch then closed determinedly into the final furlong, switched leads into the final sixteenth, wore down the game runner-up in deep stretch and got up in time to prevail. AUGUSTINIAN showed good speed away from the start, pressed the solid early pace two wide and between runners, took command at the quarter pole then led to upper stretch, dug in while holding BRONZE BULLET at bay into the final furlong, fought gamely into the final sixteenth, was bested by the winner in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for second. SILENT STRATEGIST settled off of the contested early pace, roused two wide to the quarter marker, could not match strides with the top pair into the final furlong and was clear of the rest for third. MAJESTIC NOIR a bit slow away from the start, trailed into the turn, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, improved position in the late stages. NOAH'S HONOR hustled away from the start, tracked the solid early pace from the inside, was well placed into the turn then outkicked nearing the quarter pole, could not find the needed response into the stretch and did not threaten late. TITANIO COCO showed good speed away from the start, took a narrow early lead and set a contested pace from the inside heading into the turn, set solid fractions nearing the quarter marker, was overtaken into upper stretch then tired in the drive.
