GIVE ME LIBERTY settled outside of rivals into the first turn and raced widest to the half-mile marker, was asked for run four wide nearing the quarter pole, rallied to mid-stretch and responded well into the final furlong, overhauled the runner-up in deep stretch and edged away late for the win. ALASDAIR settled just off of the early pace, tracked the decent pace three deep along the backstretch then roused three wide to the quarter marker, vied for the lead to upper stretch and took command into the final furlong, led to the final sixteenth, was overtaken by the oncoming winner in deep stretch and was clear in the end for second. DRINK N WINK was prominent into the first turn, attended to the decent pace up the backstretch then pressed the pace into the far turn, vied for the lead two wide and between rivals at the quarter marker then battled into the stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and just held for third at the wire. FRIOLENTO was caught a bit in tight leaving the start and settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the backstretch, maintained a rail trip to the second turn, angled three wide to upper stretch, could not mount a final response and just missed for third at the wire. READIER hustled for the early lead, assumed command into the first turn and set a decent pace up the backstretch, met oncoming bids nearing the quarter marker then battled to mid-stretch and yielded in the final sixteenth. SHERMAN FURY settled just off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, tracked the decent pace up the backstretch, chased two wide to the quarter marker, could not find a response to upper stretch then weakened in the drive.
