TECHNO MUSIC was forwardly placed away from the start, rated just off of the early pace then tracked three wide up the backstretch, vied for the lead three deep into the far turn, took command at the quarter pole then kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and was ridden out late to win as much the best. ROCKY LAGOON settled off of the early pace, made a steady advance along the backstretch, roused four wide to the quarter marker, chased TECHNO MUSIC into the final furlong, could not impact the winner into the final sixteenth and was best of the rest. RISTRE settled outside of rivals into the first turn, never far back heading to the half-mile marker, chased two wide and between foes into the far turn, angled four wide to upper stretch, could not match strides with the top pair late but ran on in the final sixteenth and was a clear third. CHANCE ON ME broke alertly, went up and disputed the early pace, dueled outside of GIULIO CESARE along the backstretch then contested between foes into the far turn, was outkicked to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. LUFKIN unhurried early on, coaxed three to four wide to upper stretch, could not threaten the leaders into the final furlong and passed tiring rivals late. GIULIO CESARE showed speed away from the start, engaged with CHANCE ON ME and disputed the pace inside of that rival heading into the backstretch, contested the pace into the far turn, could not keep pace with TECHNO MUSIC into upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. CADENCED settled three then four wide into the first turn, went up and tracked the moderate pace four wide to the half-mile point, could not keep pace into the far turn and faltered in the stretch drive. TACITAP settled in the second flight early on, tracked the moderate pace while saving ground up the backstretch, was outrun to the quarter pole and tired in the stretch drive. CAMPANERIS settled while saving ground into the first turn, lost position heading to the half-mile pole, trailed to the far turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
