O CAPTAIN raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn and gained ground late to get up for the win. WALTER ME LAD raced in the two path around the first bend, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the second bend, and gained ground late. EDDIE THE GREAT saved ground early, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and improved position in the stretch. BATTLE OF DOVER stalked the leader while saving ground through the opening half mile, came around the far bend in the two path and chased on from there. GUILDENSTERN (IRE) saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path passing the three eighths pole and made up some ground in the lane while never truly threatening. ATMIDNIGHT raced in the three path early, continued up the backstretch off the pace, navigated the far turn from the three path and showed no kick. RASHID saved ground around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second turn and faded in the lane. SOUPER LEGACY raced in the two path around the first bend, chased the leader up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the far turn and continued to tire in the stretch.
