Footnotes
KING OF HOLLYWOOD led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, dug in gamely in the lane and held off a closer to the finish. ZOZAN tracked the leader between horses up the long backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, challenged coming into the stretch and gained ground from there. SWASHBUCKLE tracked the leader on the inside early, saved ground around the bend and chased on in the stretch. SEAVER chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and weakened in the lane. NOBLE PRINCE bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, raced in the middle of the pack on the rail through the opening half mile, saved ground around the bend and was outkicked in the stretch. FREDERICKSBURG raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the early going, came around the turn in the four path and made no bid. NEVER SAY NEVER bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, trailed the field up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the turn and was never a threat. ETON raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and was empty from there.
