Footnotes
PARDO bumped inner foe at the start, tracked the pace between runners up the backstretch, ranged up three wide to stalk the pace going into the far turn, met his cue at the three-eighths pole and entered a duel down the lane with SUNDAY SONG, was carried out while doing battle but was able to edge clear in the final jumps. SUNDAY SONG broke well and claimed command along the inside, continued under pressure from BLEU MARTINI up the backstretch, shook that foe off to be replaced by PARDO nearing the three-eighths and began asking soon after in response, drifted out a bit in the upper stretch while dueling on his inside lead, gave way late for a gamely finish. TO JOEY bumped outer foe at the start, shadowed the pace for the run up the backstretch, was nudged along three wide through the far turn but had no more for the stretch. BLEU MARTINI pressed the pace two wide, was roused around the seven-sixteenths but had no response and backed off the pace entered a drive nearing the quarter and still lacked the response needed, kept on along the inside down the stretch. ACTION DELIGHT settled four wide, trailed at the nine-sixteenths, showed little.
